House Creative Media // Website

Working with the House Creative team, I created a clean and consistent website for the agency. The original colour palette (light brown, dark/cold brown, teal, cyan, orange) was used; I followed the brand style guide to complete this website project. The fonts used Roboto Slab for headings and Ift Etica for all other copy.

CIT Montana // Website

The Crisis Intervention Team based in Montana, USA are responsible for educating first responders on handling offenders with mental health cases. The idea is to teach first responders to prioritize de-escalation and provide the option to certain offenders to enter the mental health system rather than the prison system.

This website was created from scratch without the use of a template with the program Webflow. I chose a grey and gold theme for the site to give it a calm and sophisticated look as users view the important information. I also chose all of the images and wrote the copy for the website based on the information in the brief from the client.

South Point Community Church // Website

A passionate church from the United States wanted a new and modern website with a clean navigation. A style guide was provided by House's graphic designer; neutrals and bright accents created a fresh look that let info and buttons pop off the page. Tasked with creating an all-new site architecture (navigation); I began with grouping information into larger topics (home, about. contact, and donate) so users could easily access what they need to.

Quilter's Haven // Website

Quilter's Haven is managed by a small group of women passionate about quilts; they wanted a website that matched their bright and welcoming personalities so I chose teal and salmon pink and kept the backgrounds light. I needed to shorten and clarify the copy for the site based on the client's brief; the copy was put into shorter bursts so the information was easier to absorb as the eye follows the visual hierarchy.

Internship Blog // Website

During my time employed at House Creative Media, my mentor wanted me to keep a blog to document my internship (including topics learned at school and applying them to the projects I worked on throughout the internship). I created a style guide and mock ups for the design of this site; I used my own images as well as stock photos. There were four pages total: a landing/home page, a stylish and thorough about page, a blog page organized via content management system within Webflow, and a portfolio page to showcase my projects.

Victory Church* // Rebrand

Our team began a full rebrand for Victory Church in mid to late-January. The image of my wireframe for the entire site. The client wanted a dark neon theme, the idea being a nightclub vibe (yes, for a church!).

*Unfinished due to being laid off (entire team was laid off so company could survive through COVID19)

First Portfolio

1st Portfolio Website

I wanted a plain, modern, and clean typeface so I chose Montserrat and used it throughout the project.

I used a darker royal purple for the background to create a modern vibe. An off-white is the main colour I use for copy, along with a pink for accents. I used this accent for secondary headings as well as navigation links when active or hovered over.

Consisting of four pages, this site is mobile-friendly. To the left is the homepage followed by the about and contact pages. The about page features a JSON file accent to the left of the text. The footer shown on the homepage is seen on all pages other than the contact page.
